Head Teacher Message:
Dear all,
This year has been wonderful for all of us at Pastures Way, we have had the pleasure of watching your children flourish and grow in confidence. The curriculum we offer at Pastures Way has been carefully thought out to ensure every child is supported to reach their full potential. We are immensely proud of all the children.
For the children moving onto school in September, this can be an exciting but anxious time for them and for you as parents /carers. The staff have been working with our feeder schools to ensure the transitions are as smooth as possible. They have been doing lots of work in the classroom to prepare the children for the expectations of their new schools. We are sad to say goodbye to your children and will miss them, but we know they are ready for the next part of their journey.
For your children that are remaining with us, we look forward to welcoming them back in September for another exciting year of learning.
I would also like to thank all the staff that work at Pastures Way for their commitment and dedication. The admin team ensure the school runs smoothly, are a great support to the classrooms and are always ready with a smile to greet families. The teachers, practitioners and family workers demonstrate a level of commitment that ensures all children receive the highest quality education and care, they consistently go above and beyond for the children and families. Our site agent and cleaners work tirelessly to ensure the inside and outside environment is welcoming, clean, and safe. I appreciate and value everything they do daily.
We are saying a very fond farewell to Maria our fabulous Family Worker, Maria has been supporting families and children at Pastures Way for 23 years. Maria is a valued and respected member of the team; I am sure you all join us and the Governing body in wishing Maria well for the future.
On behalf of the staff and Governors I would like to thank you for your support over the past year and hope you have a good summer break with your amazing children.
