We have a number of vacancies for Level 4 Early Years Workers at all three sites within the Federation. These include class-based SEN support staff and room deputies. Hours of work will reflect the opening times at the site you will be working at initially (33.5 hours per week at Gill Blowers Nursery School and 36 hours per week at Pastures Way). Successful applicants will be key workers, contribute to planning, monitoring and assessment and maintain supportive relationships with parents, colleagues and other members of our community. All staff are expected to attend staff training meetings on Wednesday evenings.

You will be an enthusiastic, qualified practitioner with substantial experience within the early years sector.  Knowledge of how to support children with ASD, communication and other learning needs would be an asset. With excellent communication skills, you will need be a confident role model and able to share your expertise with junior staff. About this Role

The RICCHER Federation of Nursery Schools comprises two inclusive local authority maintained nursery schools (Pastures Way and Gill Blowers) across three sites. With children aged between 2 and 5 years old, we are passionate about providing the best education through a child centred curriculum, as well as supporting wider family need. We provide funded places for two, three and four years olds and also offer resourced provision for a number of children with severe and complex special needs.

We are looking to appoint a friendly, helpful, organised and reliable Admin Assistant who shows good attention to detail. The work includes reception duties within a busy office where multi-tasking is a must. Core work includes but is not limited to pupil administration, contacting parents and raising orders with suppliers. Hours will be 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday (4pm finish on a Friday) during term time only plus 5 days.

You will have experience of team working within an office and/or school environment and be able to use various IT packages, including Word, Excel. Knowledge of FMS and SIMs would be helpful. With excellent communications skills, you will be able to engage confidently and politely with parents and staff. Offers of employment will be subject to DBS clearance.
