At Pastures Way Nursery School, we have a deep commitment to outdoor play. Our philosophy is that access to the natural outdoor world is crucial for young children to thrive, grow and develop enquiring minds. We have a lovely outdoor learning area – with both tarmac and garden areas. The outdoor area provides a rich environment for children’s learning in all areas of the curriculum through play, movement and sensory experience in all weathers. Please note we have an expectation that children will be well enough to choose whether they play indoors or outdoors throughout the session.
